Position Summary
As our Production Manager, you will serve as the systems architect behind daily operations, leadership development, and strategic problem solving. You will design and execute frameworks that drive results, empower teams, and eliminate inefficiencies—while ensuring full compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. This is a launchpad to a Facility Manager role and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and optimize staffing across hourly and salaried production roles to meet dynamic demandAct as second-in-command to the Facility Manager, stepping in seamlessly when neededBuild and refine daily management systems that drive accountability and performanceApply structured problem-solving and root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issuesDevelop and mentor frontline leaders through targeted coaching and training programsResolve production planning challenges with precision and foresightChampion Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) across all production activitiesEnsure compliance with FDA, SQF, HACCP, and other food safety standardsLead internal audits and support external inspections with confidence and clarityDrive continuous improvement in sanitation, allergen control, and traceability systemsCollaborate cross-functionally with procurement, quality, and maintenance teamsMaintain a culture of safety, cleanliness, and operational disciplineQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Food Science, or related field preferredProven leadership in manufacturing or production environmentsMastery of structured problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Deep understanding of GMP, HACCP, and food safety compliance frameworksStrong planning, organizational, and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and production management toolsExcellent communication skills—clear, direct, and data-drivenAbout You
