- Immediate Supervisor : E-Commerce Manager.
- EEOC Class : Administrative Support Worker.
- FLSA Status : Non-exempt.
Wage : $16.75 / hour.
Job Summary :
The E-Commerce Shipper inventories, packages, and ships items purchased through shopgoodwill.com.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Inventories items posted for sale on all selling platforms.
- Identifies sold product that needs to be shipped by pulling it daily.
- Packs, seals, prints packing slips and labels, or affixes postage to prepare for shipping.
- Ensures the right items are sent to the correct customer.
- Records shipping method and tracking number.
- Transports product through warehouse to loading area.
- Maintains a defect rate of less 4% on all shipped merchandise.
- Ensures proper housekeeping, and safety within their desk and work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, and / or mission.
Requirements :
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to speak / read / write proficient English.
- Knowledge of or the ability to learn Microsoft Office / Office 365.
- Ability to read and perform basic math skills to calculate weights and shipping costs.
- Strong knowledge of computer use, familiarity with online sales vendors and related software programs.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Works well under pressure and with deadlines; ability to multitask.
- Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Honesty, integrity, reliability, punctuality.
- Thorough knowledge about company's mission and services.
- Uphold compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines.
Required Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements :
- Free from drug and alcohol abuse.
- Stand for up to 8 hours per day.
- Manual dexterity.
- Ability to bend / squat / stoop.
- Ability to lift / pull / push 50 lbs.
Environmental Conditions :
Warehouse.

Personal Protective Equipment Used - Assigned at orientation / as needed :
- Gloves.
