About The Position

Job Description : This person will be working in one of the adult patient units but must be comfortable floating to other units during codes called or times of high census and understaffing. The facility consists of 4 units with 24 beds each. Each unit will have 3 nurses on days and 2 on nights.

The Nursing Team is devoted to providing innovative and exceptional psychiatric care in a safe and therapeutic environment. We focus on creating a strong foundation for long-term healing and recovery with evidence-based practices and utilizing medication therapy that is relevant and up to date. Above all, we truly value that both the patients and our staff are treated with dignity and respect, always going the extra mile to ensure a positive environment.

• Support the organization, program and unit philosophy of care
• Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients
• Ensure medical Orders are followed, initiate and follow treatment planning
• Act as a patient advocate at all times

Qualifications

Must :

RN License

High Energy

Personal connection to mental or behavioral health

Behavioral health or med surg exp

Stability – consistent work history

Physical Requirements :

Lifting, standing, walking, restraints when needed
