Raytheon’s Radar Digital Product Line (RDPL) team in Fullerton, California, is growing — and we are looking for Principal Software Engineers who want their work to matter. In this role, you’ll help build the real-time C++ software that powers some of the world’s most advanced radar systems, technology relied on to protect service members and give our nation and allies a decisive edge. What You Will Do

• Collaborate with Scrum teams to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot radar software solutions.
• Assist in the requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.
• Contribute to the development of new work products or enhance existing applications and systems.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions in C++ and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Participate in technical reviews of software components and systems.
• Follow established Agile / Scrum development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.
• Occasional travel (up to 10%) to radar installations to help with testing, integration, or troubleshooting.

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
