Carrier Sales Representative
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in the achievement of your branch's sales targets and growth. You will facilitate the achievement of these goals by building lasting carrier relationships with our current and new partner carriers, negotiating fair but competitive rates, and managing the loads you book from pickup to delivery. Not only is your role vital to the success of our carrier relationships and execution of successful shipments, you will also be a major contributor to the onboarding of new business. You will be working daily with Sales Representatives in your branch on costs for adhoc and RFP freight. You will use your knowledge of the industry, negotiating skills, and relationships with partner carriers to secure fair rates that support our client's budgets and our carrier's business. You will be the frontline contact for the carriers you assign to loads and the primary contact for our accounting team in the event of invoicing discrepancies. If a carrier you assign has an issue, you will be responsible for leading the team to resolution and for securing the relationship with the carrier.
