The Artificial Intelligence Consultant will support the delivery of AI services as a core part of the Husch Blackwell Consulting AI Advisory Services team. Working closely with legal and business professionals, this role will assist in developing client solutions and ensuring project tasks are completed effectively.
Key responsibilities include gathering and documenting client requirements, contributing to the development of AI strategies and governance frameworks, and assisting in the implementation of solutions that provide measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Participate in discovery sessions with clients to help identify goals, requirements, and success metrics.
- Assist in gathering and documenting client requirements, helping to translate them into actionable project objectives.
- Support communication with clients by responding to inquiries and providing ongoing assistance, while helping to build positive relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Provide direct support to the project team throughout the engagement lifecycle to help ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Presentation, Proposal, and Strategic Planning
Contribute to the development of AI strategic plans and governance frameworks as part of the project team.Assist in creating client-facing presentations that communicate AI capabilities, solution designs, and expected outcomes.Help develop tailored proposals and supporting materials that align with the client's industry, use case, and maturity level.Support the preparation of executive briefings, narratives, and thought leadership content.Business Strategy
Support the development and implementation of AI strategies that align with client business objectives and industry trends.Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging AI technologies to help inform project recommendations.Assist in providing guidance to clients on AI adoption, transformation roadmaps, and potential business value.Help identify and evaluate opportunities for AI-driven optimization, innovation, and growth within client organizations.Project Coordination and Delivery
Support project teams in coordinating resources and identifying potential risks across multiple workstreams.Assist in tracking project milestones and deliverables to help ensure timely and successful completion of client-facing projects.Maintain project documentation, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency in future engagements.Participate in agile development activities, rapid prototyping, and iterative solution delivery as part of the project team.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work collaboratively with legal professionals, business strategists, technologists, and other stakeholders to support coordination across business development, legal, and consulting teams.Assist in aligning on client expectations and project scope to help drive successful outcomes.Share learnings, best practices, and templates with team members to support high standards in client engagement.Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, law, analytics, computer science, engineering, information systems, mathematics, or a related field or commensurate professional and educational experience.3+ years of experience in consulting, business analysis, or client engagement, preferably within technology, AI, or data-driven environments.Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% to HBC and client sites as required.Ability to understand and analyze complex business problems and contribute to the development of actionable solutions.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities; adept at prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.Preferred Experience
An advanced degree in business, analytics, data science, or a related field is a plus.Background in business intelligence, data science, compliance, or hands-on professional AI deployment and use.Familiarity with AI / ML concepts, tools, and platforms.Experience working on cross-functional teams and handling multiple projects simultaneously.Compensation And Benefits
