Facility in Peoria, IL seeking Inpatient Oncology locums coverage Rates : $560 / hr Position : Locum Tenens Medical Oncologist Start Date : July 1, 2025 Schedule : Monday Friday, 12-hour shifts starting at 7 : 30 AM Shifts per Month : Approximately 15 Setting : Hospital-based Support : APP on-site; PRN Medical Oncologist available one week per month EMR : EPIC Privileges : Full or Temporary available Estimated Credentialing Time : 60 days Responsibilities : Provide comprehensive patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up management Conduct hospital rounds as needed Collaborate with in-practice APP for consults, orders, and patient care planning Coordinate with the broader cancer care team for continuity of treatment Cover when the PRN Medical Oncologist is off-site Requirements : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology Active Illinois medical license OR IMLC DEA with Schedule II authority ACLS certified Minimum 1 year of experience Additional Notes : No weekend shifts No on-call requirements No solo coverage About WhiteCoat Locums : - Physician owned and led agency - Highest-Pay rates on the market - $1m / 3m malpractice insurance and tail - 100% transparency
