Immediate REMOTE opening for an Embedded Systems Engineer II / III who possesses : -Degree and 5-7+ years of embedded systems design experience -Experience with motor controls (BLDC / FOC) with DSP / FPGA and power electronics / sensors experience -US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required due to ITAR compliance Email resumes to mturner@ : -Electrical design and development of embedded control systems in support of the following company product lines : -Actuation Systems -Turbo Generators -Power Generation, Conversion, and Distribution -Micro-thrust Turbines -Utilize and develop system and circuit performance models using MATLAB / SIMULINK (or equivalent) -Collaborate with the hardware engineering team for firmware development for : -Motor control (BLDC, FOC) using DSP / FPGA technology -Power electronics for motor control, rectification, DC-DC conversion, and distribution -Integration of various sensors used in closed loop control systems (resolver, VDT, pressure, current, HED) -Design and develop firmware and software to support the systems / technologies mentioned above -Design and develop testbenches as required to test electronic hardware modules -Design and develop supporting software utilized in design validation testing and production testing -Document firmware / software per industry standard practices and communicate theory of operation, etc. -Perform validation and verification of product requirements through testing -Prepare documentation in support of internal deliverables (reports, presentations) Salary Range : $100K - $165K DOE
