HPC - Software Engineer - Linux, Bash, Ansible

Description

The Software Engineer shall be responsible for the development, enhancement, and sustainment of automation tools in support of system management infrastructure software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret / SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus two (2) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or four (4) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required skills :

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes
• Recent software development experience using Python
• Familiar with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
• Familiar with performing troubleshooting and debugging issues in an operational system
• Familiar with CI / CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
• Experience with Git Source Control System
