Desktop Support Technician

Location : Cleveland, OH

• Position Overview :

We are seeking a customer-focused Deskside Support Technician to join our IT support team. This role provides Level I and II support for desktops, laptops, and related hardware / software, working directly with end users to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Deliver Level I & II support for Windows 10 / 11 and Mac OS environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, VPN, and peripheral issues.
• Manage imaging and deployment of new systems.
• Administer user accounts and group policies.
• Support email and productivity tools, including troubleshooting Outlook and related applications.
• Perform system upgrades and ensure business applications and peripherals are functioning properly.
• Resolve malware and virus issues; perform system clean-ups.
• Track and manage service tickets using a ticketing system.
• Assist with hardware distribution across multiple locations.
• Maintain inventory and perform warranty service tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and provide occasional technical guidance.
• Required Skills :
• Proficiency in Windows 10 / 11, Office 365, and Active Directory.
• Experience with imaging, deployment, and hardware support.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with service desk operations and ticketing systems.
• Ability to support both PC and Mac environments.
• Preferred Qualifications :
• 2-3 years of IT support experience.
• Technical certifications such as A+ or Network+ are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.

This is a Contract position based out of Cleveland, OH.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00 / hr.
