Job Overview

AEVEX Aerospace is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer II to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components.

This key player will combine technical expertise and problem-solving skills to design, implement, and maintain electrical systems in various domains.

Essential Functions

  • Design, develop and test electrical systems and equipment for industrial, commercial, and consumer use
  • Develop and maintain electrical control systems, including wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Analyze and interpret technical data, such as specifications, blueprints, and schematics, to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and clients to identify and resolve technical issues and improve system performance
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and provide technical support to production staff as needed
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product reliability and performance
  • Stay current with new technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical engineering

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Knowledge of electrical design software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations, including NEC, UL, and CE
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of common industry protocols (LVDS, I2C, HDMI, UART, SPI, CAN, USB, MIPI)

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Professional certification, such as Professional Engineer (PE), is preferred but not required.
