Java Developer

Responsibilities

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or highly specialized knowledge in software development and web application technologies and 5-8 years' experience in the field of Java development.

Interacts with the business analysis team to understand project requirements.

Develops overall architecture / product design documents, technical design specifications for individual modules and technology justifications for architectural considerations.

Ensure integration of entire system or subsystem

Develop, document, unit-test, and deploy enterprise level multi-tier web applications using Object Oriented Concepts, J2EE, Hibernate / JPA, Spring REST Web Services, WebLogic application server, Oracle relational database along with Telerik Kendo UI utilizing CSS, Bootstrap, HTML, jQuery and JavaScript.

Utilize Core Java concepts such as Reflection and Collections to make code generic and efficient.

Develop database objects like packages / procedures / functions / triggers using SQL Developer to support application features.

Understand, and implement additional frameworks like Spring Batch, Spring MVC in applications.

Knowledge of Atlassian tools to support Project Development activities in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Development environment.

Develop build packages using Maven.

Applies Java and Oracle standard coding practices and industry standards.

Applies Section 508 / Accessibility Standards compliant software development methodologies.

Develop the application using SAFe Agile Methodology.

Knowledge of CMMI Level 3 processes

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience in :

J2EE, JSP, Struts 2, Spring 3.0 on Eclipse IDE

HTML, JS, JQuery, Ajax, CSS

Oracle Weblogic, Apache HTTP (OHS)

Minimum 3 years' experience in :

Oracle, SQL, PL / SQL

SOAP / REST, XML, XSD, XLST, WSDL

Maven

JUnit, JMock, Selenium
