Caregiver - Home Health Aide (PT, Weekends)

Mainstay Supportive Housing and Home Care, Inc. is a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to helping vulnerable individualslow-income elders, people living with disabilities and mental health complexities, and those transitioning out of chronic homelessnesslive with dignity, independence, and stability in their communities. Since our founding in 1975, we've been deeply rooted in providing housing services to the most vulnerable and have expanded into providing permanent supportive housing, and person-centered home care in communities across Massachusetts. We are seeking reliable, compassionate Home Health Aides to join our dedicated in-home care team. This part-time weekend role focuses on providing one-on-one support to older adults living in their own homes across the Spencer and Sturbridge area. By assisting with everyday tasks and building meaningful connections, you will help clients age in place safely and with dignityavoiding institutional care and maintaining their independence.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide direct personal care and support for clients with : light meal preparation, personal hygiene and grooming assistance, light housekeeping and laundry, medication reminder, companionship with clients from daily visits, deliver one hour of individualized non-clinical care per client visit, support and encourage client participation in their care plans, support a safe, clean, and respectful home environment, communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and families, document services accurately and in a timely manner.
