Job Summary :
This Warehouse Coordinator / Technician is a member of the North American Commercial HVAC Engineering Laboratory Team in La Crosse, WI.
This role is committed to providing Material and Inventory Control (MIC) support to the Laboratory as well as product design engineering support through shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, material / part / unit disposal, loading and unloading trucks, transportation of parts / test units, data entry and inventory tracking.
Core Job Responsibilities (others may be added) :
- Work safely and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and organize an inventory of the Lab and Engineering Lab parts, units, and equipment in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment to load / unload trucks, store, and move inventory to and from the laboratory.
- Properly and safely prepare units, parts, and materials for storage and disposal as necessary.
- Provide support to maintain facilities and equipment.
- Assist Laboratory Test Teams and Materials Inventory Control group to maintain project schedules and execute laboratory tests on-time.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Associate's Degree in a technical discipline is highly-preferred with at least a High School Diploma required.
- EPA Type Universal Certification (or willing to become certified).
- Forklift Certification is required.
Key Competencies :
- Ability to operate power hand tools, forklifts, band saw drill press, grinder, etc. and work from lifts, scaffolds, and ladders.
- Self-starting and capable of independent judgment with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to speak and listen effectively before groups of customers or employees in the organization
- Computer skills using the Microsoft suite of products.
- Attention to detail, professionalism, and customer focus
