Job description

A company is looking for a Lead Mainframe Developer to oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex mainframe applications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of mainframe applications and systems

Mentor and guide junior developers in coding practices and systems design

Liaise with project managers and business analysts to gather requirements and provide technical solutions

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 8+ years of experience in mainframe development, focusing on COBOL and JCL

Proficiency in working with mainframe databases, including DB2 and IMS

Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing development teams

Experience with Agile methodologies and software development life cycles
