About The Position

Summary : The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs complex, minimally invasive, image-guided procedures under the direction of an Interventional Radiologist. This role involves advanced imaging operation, sterile procedural assistance, patient care, and strict adherence to safety protocols. The IR Technologist ensures high-quality imaging and optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced, procedural environment.

Responsibilities :

• Operate fluoroscopy units, CT scanners, ultrasound equipment, and digital imaging systems as required.
• Position patients accurately and adjust imaging parameters to obtain optimal diagnostic quality.
• Prepare contrast media, medications (as allowed), and procedure trays.
• Maintain and monitor sterile fields; scrub and circulate during procedures as needed.
