Senior Accountant
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in monthly close process, understanding all processes, and booking journal entries
- Creating and updating balance sheet reconciliations and roll forwards
- Uploading transactions into NetSuite
- Ability to help with AP, AR, GL, cash, and migrations as needed
- Ad hoc reporting and NetSuite optimizations
- Analyze issues affecting financial statements and determine areas of improvement
- Work with auditors on requests
- Help implement Accounting projects, controls, and processes both in the financial systems and across company
- Acquisition experience a plus, understanding of intercompany transactions and working in different subsidiaries
Requirements :
- Accounting degree
- CPA preferred
- Experience with NetSuite preferred
- Intermediate experience with Excel
- Full knowledge of GL and GAAP, full cycle accounting
- Monthly close processing experience
- At least 2 years strong accounting experience
