Position Overview :

Star Academy (NOLA Education) is seeking a data-driven Operations Analyst to support the purchasing and production functions of our fast-scaling educational product line. This role will transform raw, disorganized data into actionable intelligence that informs master production schedules, purchasing plans, and capacity models.

You will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to build reporting infrastructure, analyze operational bottlenecks, and help forecast demand across 80+ sites nationwide.

Key Responsibilities :

Clean, integrate, and maintain datasets from purchasing, inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping systems.

Analyze production output rates, order cycle times, and material usage trends.

Model site-level and enterprise-wide capacity to inform purchasing and staffing decisions.

Build dashboards (Excel, Power BI, or other tools) to track KPIs like throughput, lead time, reorder points, and forecasted demand.

Recommend process improvements based on data (e.g., buffer stock strategies, scheduling cadence).

Partner with Supply Chain and Assembly teams to validate assumptions and interpret results.

Qualifications :

A Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Business or Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Information Systems (startup or assembly experience a bonus).

Advanced Excel required; experience with SQL, Python, or BI tools a strong plus.

Proven ability to clean and structure raw data across systems.

Bonus points - Understanding of purchasing cycles, MRP, and capacity modeling.

Must be comfortable working in fast-paced, loose structure, high-growth company environment. If you do not tolerate change well, this company is not a fit.
