Banking & Finance Attorney

A company is looking for a Legal Editor with expertise in banking and finance law for a remote project engagement.

Key Responsibilities :

Draft and review practical guidance materials and conduct research on banking and finance topics

Provide expertise in representing various financial entities in financing transactions

Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and related documentation

Required Qualifications :

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to at least one state bar

3-5 years of experience as a banking and finance attorney, preferably with an AmLaw 100 / 200 firm

Strong background in drafting and negotiating complex financing agreements

Expertise in securitizations and financial derivative transactions

Ability to meet deadlines independently and follow editorial guidelines accurately
