UT Health East Texas is actively hiring an epileptologist to join the Clinical Faculty at our Neurological Institute location in beautiful Tyler, TX. This is a great opportunity to practice academic epileptology in a patient-focused and comprehensive epilepsy care program, including seizure management, EEG monitoring, refractory, and full-breadth epilepsy specialist cases. Academic Appointment and rank will be based on tenure and experience. Opportunities for research and teaching are available. About this Neurology-Epilepsy Job Opening :

• Outpatient Focus : Full-time, 1.0 FTE position with no hospital call.
• Specialty Group : Join a team of 8 neurologists and 3 APCs who take first call.
• Faculty Title : Academic Appointment rank to be determined
• Daily Patient Load : 12-18 new and follow-up epilepsy patients.
• On-site Testing : Dedicated EEG, EMG, and NCS procedure rooms. EMU available.
• Schedule : Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend coverage.
• Clinic Call : telephone only (no hospital call requirement)
• EMR : Epic
