Area Supervisor – HazWaste Sales
Location : Tacoma, WA and San Diego, CA
Salary Range : $100,000 – $130,000 annually, plus commission and performance incentives

We're seeking an Area Supervisor – HazWaste Sales to lead business development efforts across Southern California or in the Tacoma WA territory. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment, has deep industry knowledge, and is passionate about helping clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Expand business within assigned territories by acquiring new customers and growing existing accounts
- Develop and target regional accounts in collaboration with the Director of Sales
- Maintain and grow revenue through service changes, price increases, and customer retention strategies
- Communicate regulatory compliance issues to customers
- Resolve customer issues and coordinate with Field Operations and Customer Service
- Serve as liaison for accounts payable and collections when needed
- Create and deliver presentations to key prospects and clients
- Develop and execute territory routing plans, forecasts, and customer business reviews
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, research, and outreach
- Monitor and report sales performance against goals using approved metrics
- Manage a blend of existing business (farmer) and new business development (hunter) responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Must reside in Southern California or Washington stateBachelor's Degree in Business, Sciences, Marketing, or Management with 3+ years of outside sales experience in outsourced services to manufacturing / industrial markets OR 5+ years of industry-related sales experienceMinimum 5 years of sales experience managing multiple accountsProven experience in hazardous waste salesKnowledge of RCRA, DOT, DEA regulatory environmentsDemonstrated success in acquiring clients in industries such as Electronics, Pharmaceuticals, Semi-Conductors, Aerospace, Plating, BiotechAbility to speak to businesses previously wonExperience in waste management / environmental servicesAbility to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in EHS, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and MarketingFamiliarity with Salesforce CRMPreferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
