About the role : As CBRE's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Global Director, you'll lead the department responsible for developing and implementing vital health, safety, and environmental programs for our clients. Your role is more than oversight; it's a commitment to safeguarding both people and the environment. This position is a key part of the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) function, which focuses on creating and maintaining organizational programs and procedures. These programs are designed to protect our global technology clients' employees, assets, and the surrounding communities. You'll be instrumental in building a proactive safety culture, ensuring compliance, and promoting sustainable practices. You are a guardian, ensuring the well-being of all those touched by CBRE's work.

What you’ll do

• Develops, implements and leads HSE programs and initiatives specific to our client's global infrastructure, to meet regulatory requirements and HSE safety and Environmental needs of our client account. Evaluates new and existing programs to assess suitability and the need for changes.
• Directs and coordinates activities of personnel staff engaged in HSE programs.
• Coordinates HSE plans, playbooks and procedures for an account, market area, or geographical region of responsibility. Ensures HSE plans and playbooks are current, complete and successfully implemented.
• Monitors health and safety and environmental regulatory compliance within the account, market area, or geographical / contractual area of responsibility. Develops and implements strategic solutions that will support management's efforts to improve and maintain compliance.
• Reviews and leads all aspects of all work processes and conditions to ensure HSE protective measures are optimized. Develops, recommend preventative and improvement measures to ensure the enhancement of EH&S programs.
• Manages and coordinates the interactions with government agencies, professional Health, Safety and Environmental groups, community advisory panels, corporate HSE officers, and all internal safety activities
• Provides direct and timely counsel and information to management for the account in matters pertaining to HSE, compliance, trends, performance and concerns.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Global HSE Director position is $ 175,000 annually and the maximum salary is 194,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits : 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
