Job descriptionEducation Preferred : Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field Experience Required : At least 15 years of experience in Database Administration. With experience in designing, implementing, and leading large scale database implementations OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related field Skills Experience in managing on-premises and cloud database systems Experience managing high level client relationships and escalations Advanced leadership and mentoring skills, and ability to train and support junior team members. Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives Regularly interacts across functional areas and with senior managers and executives to ensure objectives are met. Industry expertise and broad company knowledge Leading contributor individually and as a team member Licensure / Certification / Registration N.A.
Summary
- The Database Administrator manages and optimizes the organization's databases to ensure seamless and efficient data storage and retrieval. Responsibilities include designing, implementing and maintaining database systems, creating and monitoring backup strategies, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data security. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and contribute to the overall performance and reliability of the database infrastructure.
