Validation Engineer
Position : Battery Validation Engineer
Location : Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Required Skills
- 2 to 6 years of experience in Wearables / Embedded devices / Consumer electronics verification and validation.
- Experience in Li-ion battery, Battery Management System, Battery cycle testing, charge discharge testing in different scenarios,
- Firmware testing, safety concepts, performance Testing etc.
- Experience in system level testing of embedded wearable devices, android, and iOS applications.
- Experience in Requirement analysis and Test plan and Test case creation, Test setup development, Manual Testing, bug reporting, test artifacts management etc.
- Expertise in operating lab tools and equipment required for battery Testing. (Thermal chamber, various meters etc.)
- Moderate Programming and debugging skills in Python and ADB for executing and maintaining automated tests and data collection.
- Proficiency in using MS office or google sheets for Record, analyze, present test data, document test findings and support root cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA.
- Understand consumer product’s PDP from validation perspective.
