Job Role :
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Manage financial records and accounts for the business.
- Build and document processes for accounting.
- Produce financial reporting packages.
- Monitor and track budgets, expenses, and revenue to ensure financial goals are met.
- Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for the business.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of costs and revenue.
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for process improvement.
- Assist in the development of cost estimates and pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any accounting-related issues.
- Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets for maintenance operations.
- Maintain organized and detailed financial documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
Essential Functions and Competencies :
Ability to be on-site.Ability to work with a team and thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environment with a demonstrated record of achievement.Excellence in business communications including written and verbal.Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.A high level of professionalism and integrity, highly organized, works well under pressure and balances multiple priorities.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Applications.Must have a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for aviation.Proficient in accounting software.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.Knowledge of aviation industry accounting standards and regulations preferred.Required Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferred.2+ years of aviation experience in accounting / finance, required.Experience in aviation repair station accounting, required.QuickBooks experienced required.EBIS software experience a major plus.Compensation :
Pay Range : $65,000-$75,000
