Requirements :

• Must be enrolled at an accredited university
• Receiving credit for the internship
• Be able to commute to the office as these are not remote internships
• All internships are unpaid, and we do require flu vaccinations
• Applicaitons will be open until November 14th
• Due to the limited number of openings Internships are not guaranteed to all who apply.

We have 4 departments that have bachelor level openings for the Spring 2026 semester. Please choose one that matches your degree program career interests :

Homeless Outreach is a team of 1 Master level clinician, 3 Bachelor level Outreach Specialists, and 1 Peer Specialist. We do outreach to anywhere persons experiencing homelessness (PEH) might be found, including in wooded areas, parks, streets, alleyways, shelters, and drop-in centers. There is a lot of walking through wooded areas involved. We provide basic needs items (water, clothing, food, blankets, hand-warmers, etc.) as a means of engaging PEH so that we can connect them with services. We perform many case management tasks, including benefit applications and housing applications. We partner with several other agencies in Manchester, including Manchester Fire Department, Waypoint, Families In Transition, HOPE for NH Recover Center, 39 Beech Street Shelter / Engagement Center, Revive Recovery Center, Veterans Administration, Harbor Care, Easter Seals, and others.

The IT Department (Information Technology Department ) is the team within an organization that manages its technology systems, infrastructure, and digital services. Its primary role is to ensure that employees have the tools, connectivity, and support they need to perform their work efficiently and securely. Key functions of an IT Department typically include : Infrastructure Management – Maintaining servers, networks, cloud environments, and hardware. Help Desk & Support – Assisting employees with technical issues, system access, and troubleshooting. Cybersecurity – Protecting data, systems, and networks from threats through monitoring, firewalls, encryption, and compliance policies. Software & Applications – Managing business applications, updates, integrations, and licenses. Strategic Planning – Aligning technology initiatives with organizational goals, driving innovation, and supporting digital transformation. In short, the IT Department acts as both a service provider (helping staff day-to-day) and a strategic partner (enabling growth and efficiency through technology).

The Patient Benefits Department is vital to the work we do to maintain accurate insurance information, benefits, and authorization to secure reimbursement for the services provided to our community. For our un-insured and under-insured patients, that also includes navigating the complex Medicaid application process, assisting with collection of proofs needed, monitoring the status of the application with DHHS, completing the intake interview and advocating on the patient’s behalf including appeal when necessary.

Human Resources supports MHCGM's 450+ employees by providing excellent service and assistance in an approachable manner. Our team helps new hires through the onboarding and orientation process; provides fantastic benefits to existing staff; supports staff in achieving licensure and credentialing; processes payroll every two weeks; implements a competitive recruitment and retention strategy; and supports the daily needs of staff and managers.
