Role Purpose

As a specialist in pump assembly and repair, you’ll own the full lifecycle—teardown, inspection, rebuild, and final fit-up—on horizontal and vertical pumps. You’ll work hands-on with overhead cranes, M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc..), and a full suite of manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools to bring equipment back to spec.

Core Impact Areas

  • Diagnose faults and execute complete disassembly and reassembly of large pumps of all types.
  • Read blueprints and schematics; build or set up foundations / fixtures for precise assembly / disassembly.
  • Perform exacting measurements using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to handle heavy components safely.
  • Meet strict tolerances and standards of accuracy on every rebuild.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 7+ years as a pump mechanic or similar rotating equipment role.
  • Fluency with hand tools (wrenches, impact guns) and shop equipment.
  • Experience with overhead crane and forklift operation.
  • Ability to interpret inspection results; strong written and verbal communication.
  • Manual dexterity, control precision, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    The environmental characteristic for this position is an industrial setting with large machinery, overhead cranes, trucks and forklifts. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional warehouse environment.

    Tools & Technology You’ll Use

  • Compensation, Schedule & Location

  • Pay : $27.00 - $34.00 per hour, with competitive compensation including a premium for 2nd shift based on skills and experience.
  • Expected hours : 40 per week; Schedule : 8 hour shift.
  • Job Type : Full-time (in person); Work Location : In person.
