Machine Operator Packaging
Location : Oakland, CA
Pay Range : $20-23 / hr
Full-Time
We are immediately interviewing for a Packaging Machine Operator to grind & package coffee for a Bay Area-based coffee chain! As a Machine Operator, you will play an important role in the production process, making sure that every batch of coffee meets high standards of quality and consistency.
You'll be part of a team where collaboration and support are top priorities, offering excellent opportunities for growth within the company.
We're looking for a hardworking individual who thrives in a warehouse setting, someone with strong attention to detail and a knack for problem-solving.

What You’ll Do
- Use equipment including grinding machines, label printers, heat sealing machines, pallet jacks, Velteko, and Matrix to efficiently package coffee.
- Clean & shut down packaging machinery for shift changeovers.
- Enter work order codes and confirm the correct materials are on production lines.
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and report maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Use forklifts to move equipment and supplies.
- Follow OSHA, Food Safety, and general Safety processes and regulations.
What You’ll Bring
- 1+ years working in a warehouse environment
- Experience working in a food packaging role a huge plus
- Great attention to detail, efficiency, and team player attitude
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move pallets using jacks
- ServSafe Food Handler & Forklift Certification a plus
