Division Director, Digital Engineering
The Division Director, Digital Engineering, is a critical and trusted leadership role, responsible for leading and forming the digital components of our technology strategy in alignment with our mission and long-term goals. This role is responsible for formulating and implementing a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives. The Division Director is responsible for ensuring technology initiatives support and enhance the overall business strategy, fostering growth and competitive advantage.
Minimum qualifications include : exemplifying characteristics of the BAYADA Way : compassion, excellence, and reliability; a four-year college degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred; ten years of progressive experience leading and transforming IT and software teams in a growth-oriented environment; five years specifically focused on AI and its applications; relevant certifications preferred, not required (CISSP, PMP, CITM); demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills and building relationships; demonstrated record of goal achievement and exceeding performance standards; demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others; proven ability to lead AI projects and teams and the development of AI solutions; understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies; exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving abilities; demonstrated experience in cloud migration and cloud native software development, enterprise-scale integrations development, and software modernization of legacy platforms; proven track record of working with multi-functional, cross-site teams in a remote complex work environment; experience managing budgets and vendor / contract relationships; strong understanding of secure software development practices, agile development methodologies, and healthcare industry security and privacy regulations like HIPAA, HITECT, and NIST framework; demonstrated experience modernizing legacy platforms, transitioning data center systems to the cloud, and implementing enterprise-scale integrations connecting distributed systems; proven ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and discretion; strong relationship-building skills to promote collaboration and drive successful outcomes; proficiency in various technical platforms and the ability to swiftly learn new tools; solid written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service skills; excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail; and understanding and connecting with the BAYADA Home Health Care culture.
Primary responsibilities include : demonstrating and communicating the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way; developing working knowledge of BAYADAs mission, services, people, organization, policies, and procedures; championing BAYADAs core values and The BAYADA Way, ensuring these principles guide every initiative and decision; leading the strategy, development, and execution of enterprise application, integration, and cloud platforms in alignment with organizational growth, digital transformation, and modernization priorities; advancing adoption of modern software engineering practices; overseeing the modernization of legacy systems; designing, scaling, and managing BAYADAs integration framework; operationalizing and overseeing robust quality assurance automation programs; propelling the organizations AI strategy; collaborating with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and data & analytics teams; partnering with product management; ensuring compliance with healthcare industry regulations; fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning; serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership; identifying, evaluating, and guiding the adoption of emerging technologies; streamlining technology operations; developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to mitigate technological risks; leading organizational change management; building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships; establishing, monitoring, and reporting on service level agreements and key performance indicators; cultivating, leading, and developing a high-performing, inclusive, and collaborative technology team; overseeing the creation, implementation, and enforcement of technology policies and standards; allocating resources strategically; and demonstrating solid performance or exceeding performance standards.
