Housekeeper Position

We are hiring a full-time Housekeeper on the day shift to help clean and maintain a convent home for elder Franciscan sisters in Chicago (60659 area near Lincolnwood and North Park neighborhoods)!

Working 32 hours per week (7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm), Monday through Friday.

We are seeking candidates who are willing to cross-train in other departments as needed (e.g., cleaning in the kitchen, laundry, etc.).

The hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $20.50. Wage will be determined based on factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience / qualifications, and internal equity.

General Summary :

The Housekeeper performs cleaning duties in order to maintain a sanitary, clean and orderly environment. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, halls, and restrooms, and vacuuming and cleaning floors.

Education and Experience :

• Minimum of one (1) year of housekeeping / cleaning experience (commercial / environmental cleaning experience is a plus!)
• Seeking a dedicated hard worker with excellent time-management skills who thrives in a team setting
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
