Job description

We're looking for a skilled Data Analyst / Data Engineer to join our team in a staff augmentation role. The focus is on analyzing and interpreting data to deliver weekly actionable insights on key KPIs, while also managing and preparing data for reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze KPIs and metrics weekly to spot trends and deliver actionable recommendations
  • Extract and manage data from Databricks, BigQuery, and other platforms
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Power BI, Looker Studio, or Tableau
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to answer business questions and improve reporting

Required Skills

  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • Experience with BigQuery, Databricks or other similar database / data warehouse platforms
  • Proficiency in dashboard tools : Power BI, Looker Studio, or Tableau
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights

    • Engagement Details

  • Hours : ~20 hrs / week, Monday Thursday, 10 a.m. 3 p.m. Eastern
  • Type : Ongoing staff augmentation (independent contractor via Upwork)
  • Duration : Long-term potential for the right fit
