Position Description
Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment and Truck Mechanic! We're looking for a skilled professional with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment and trucks. Position Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair construction equipment, paving equipment, heavy-duty trucks, and trailers (diesel, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical systems)
Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic equipment, manuals, and schematicsTest repaired equipment for performance and safety complianceMaintain accurate service records and documentationReplace defective parts using hand and power toolsCommunicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and team membersAdhere to workplace safety protocols and regulatory requirementsQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification in diesel / heavy equipment maintenance preferred)
3-5 years of verifiable experience as a heavy equipment or truck mechanicStrong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical / electronic systems, and mechanical repairsProficient with diagnostic computers and specialized repair toolsValid driver's license (CDL preferred)Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical documentationStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCore Competencies

Working Conditions
