Position Summary
The Sales & Account Manager is responsible for maintaining positive client relationships, coordinating sales activities, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the service lifecycle. This is an inside sales and account management role there is no cold calling, outside sales, or door-to-door sales component.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and skilled at communication and coordination across teams to deliver a high-quality client experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Create and deliver accurate, timely, and competitive quotes and proposals for clients and prospects.
- Develop a solid understanding of each clients business needs, goals, and service usage.
- Manage renewals, service changes, and account documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of service and quick resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular account reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
Sales & Administrative Support
Create and deliver accurate, timely, and competitive quotes and proposals for clients and prospects.Prospect and follow up on new leads generated from marketing campaigns, events, and referral sourcesRespond to inbound inquiries and assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and service agreements.Track renewals, contracts, and client requests to ensure deadlines are met.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of communications and account activity in the CRM system.Support internal efforts to standardize pricing, proposals, and sales documentation.Collaborate with leadership to improve account management processes and customer experience.Client Experience & Retention
Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any concerns.Ensure all communications and deliverables reflect the companys professional standards.Work closely with clients during onboarding and renewal processes to ensure a smooth experience.Promote best practices for client engagement and service follow-through.Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business or related field, helpful but not required3+ years of experience in account management, inside sales, or client service.Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills.Experience using CRM and business management tools (e.g., Autotask, Quotewerks, Salesforce, Microsoft Office).Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detail.Experience in IT services, managed services, or a similar environment preferred.
