Role purpose :

This role is a bit unique – you are a developer, but one who gravitates to the SQL aspect.  You understand indexes,  write contention, different join algorithms, execution plans.  In short,  Postgres is your happy place. The role also includes normal development, but your SQL is expert level.  You will help craft the future of our platform. You understand code, but more importantly,  how to write, optimize, and debug SQL.

Responsibilities :

• Writing, debugging, optimizing SQL
• Enhancing and maintaining back end code
• Develop backend code for our APIs and services
• Working with the product team to innovative content management solutions
• Collaborating with QA to automate testing
• Collaborating with DevOps to automate deployment
• Designing and implementing unit tests to ensure quality in our product
• Assisting customers or other team members when deep technical issues arise
• Improving our database and server-side technology

Requirements :

We care that you love building software, not about your current stack. Our core language is Java, but you won’t see a list of languages and toolkits here.
