MCFR Program Manager

TerraPower is seeking a Program Manager to support the Molten Chloride Fast Reactor (MCFR) Program. This position reports to the MCFR Project Management Discipline Manager. The role centers on the planning and execution of the MCFR Demonstration Reactor Program goals and objectives to support commercialization of MCFR technology. You will manage a team of project managers and collaborate with Engineer, Technology, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other support organizations in a high-performing, multi-disciplinary environment to develop the MCFR Demonstration Reactor. This role is hybrid with a minimum of three on-site days per week. The ability to be physically present at our Bellevue, WA headquarters and Everett WA laboratory is required. Help advance a first-of-a-kind nuclear reactor towards commercial development.
Responsibilities :
Apply project management principles to plan, execute, and control the overall program to ensure that milestones are being met across various projects and / or subprogram elements.
Ensure projects and / or subprogram elements are aligned with the strategic plan of the organization.
Coordinate the projects and their interdependence between the various projects and / or subprograms in the program.
Accountable for maintaining team's focus on successful cost, schedule, and performance execution
Provides guidance and support toward project strategies and processes, including metric definition and analysis, documentation, root-cause analysis, and best practices.
Provide project stakeholders consistent and frequent project communications to enhance clarity on project priorities, issues, and progress
