Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for a dynamic and driven professional to join our team in San Diego or Anaheim, CA . As a key member of our Geotechnical Materials Engineering group , you’ll lead exciting projects from start to finish, build lasting client relationships, and collaborate across multiple departments to deliver innovative solutions.

This role offers a great balance of office-based (75%) and hands-on fieldwork (25%) , giving you the opportunity to stay connected to both strategy and execution. You’ll be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that values technical excellence, proactive communication, and continuous growth.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Project Manager on DSA / OSHPD projects.
• Direct, review, and monitor work performed by the materials testing and inspection personnel.
• Review field and laboratory reports.
• Review plans and specifications.
• Prepare and / or review materials testing proposals.
• Project Management : manage projects from inception through completion and have primary responsibility for managing client expectations and ensuring that delivery meets expectations.
• Manage projects for technical excellence, budget and schedule.
• Participate in training and mentoring of staff.
• Conduct annual and interim performance reviews. Monitor and assess progress toward performance goals.
• Certifications : ensure all accreditations and certifications of the laboratory and staff are maintained and up to date.

Qualifications

The pay range for this position in California is $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
