The Director of Nursing performs new patient admission assessments, and mentors the RN infusion team, as well as the nursing and CNA field staff. Responsibilities
Provides care as defined within the scope of the state's nurse practice act.Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluates the client's nursing needs.makes calls to clients and field supervisory visits.Prepares clinical and progress notes and summaries of care.Conducts clinical record review.Supervises, educates and coaches other nursing personnel / care-giving staff.responsible for introductions and caregiver training for new clients in start-up period.Plans and implements in-service and training programs.Implement improvement processes that impact clinical qualityStays informed about changes in the field of nursing and home health care. Shares information with appropriate organization personnel.Requirements
Current unrestricted TX RN licensePreferred : Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
