About the Role

We are looking for experienced Database Engineers / Oracle Database Administrators (DBAs) to join our team in Cary, NC. This role will support a leading financial services client by ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of mission-critical database systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep Oracle expertise along with strong problem-solving skills in enterprise financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle database environments.
• Manage database security, backup / recovery, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Monitor database health and proactively address performance and availability issues.
• Support database design, schema management, and data modeling for new and existing applications.
• Implement and maintain high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and replication strategies.
• Collaborate with application teams to optimize SQL queries and database performance.
• Provide on-call support for production environments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial services regulatory and security standards.
• Automate routine tasks through scripting and database tools.
