About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 1.5 years of ER experience required, with Level I trauma experience preferred.
License : State nursing license required.
Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NIH.
Must-Have :
- Level I trauma experience.
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
- EPIC charting experience.
Description :
Contract must continue into January.
Traveler may request one holiday off.
Local candidates accepted for this contract.
Same pay for local candidates.
All required time off requests must be submitted at the time of application.
No additional time off requests will be approved later.
Traveler must be willing to work two of the three major holidays.
The unit will allow one holiday off, but requests should not include both the eve / day after and day of holiday.
The start date is as soon as possible.
On-call availability is not required.
Weekend work is expected, with three weekends per four-week schedule.
Float to pediatric emergency department may be required.
High patient ratios may be experienced.
Traveler must acknowledge high patient ratios of 1 : 5-6, which could rise to 1 : 8 depending on patient volume.
Additional experience in continuous IV sedation and triage is preferred.
Patient care will include a variety of age groups from infants to geriatrics.
Daily census is approximately 250 visits.
Staffing ratios can vary based on patient volume.
Modules are to be completed pre-start, and may vary by specialty.
