$1000 Sign-On Bonus.
Compensation : $24 - $27.50 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Welcome patient and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during their appointment
- Equip and prepare treatment rooms for examination and procedures by laying out necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials
- Measure and document vital signs and update medical history for patients
- Schedule appointments for patient care follow up, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures
- Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
Qualifications :
Must possess a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure by the Dental Assisting National Board's (DANB)Computer skills and experience with dental software and updating patient histories is neededAssociate’s Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is requiredActive BLS / CPR certification is requiredStrong interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are essentialPrevious dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant (1 year) is necessaryAbout Company
