Responsibilities :

• Scrub on all cases.
• Surgical Cases include; Orthopedic, Total joint replacements (Hips, Shoulder, Knees Ankles etc.), Ortho Spine and Sports Medicine.
• Giving breaks and / or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.
• Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next days cases.
• Maintaining sterile field during procedures.
• Handing instruments to surgeons, anticipating surgeons needs.
• Maintaining and updating preference cards.

OR Suites-8 OR Suites, 11 Pre-Op Beds, 10 PACU Bays, 48 Inpatient Beds

Approx.200-250+ cases per month

Qualifications :

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and / or up to 20lbs frequently, and / or up to 10lbs constantly)

Required Skills : Minimum 1 yr of OR experience required

Previous OR experience with Ortho / Sports Medicine cases highly preferred

Pay range and compensation package : Compensation is based on years of experience as a surgical tech. $26.49-$41.45 / hr
