Your impact :

  • Management and design of traffic engineering projects for FDOT and other municipal clients including signing and pavement markings, signals and lighting projects.
  • Client development and fostering relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Leadership on strategic project pursuits as project / contract manager.
  • Coordination with project staff, various disciplines and sub-consultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Managing and maintaining project documentation, including project schedules, budgets, and scope.
  • Management of project budgets, goal setting, determining scope of work, estimating fees, and preparing proposals and contracts on projects.
  • Ensuring efficient and productive utilization of staff in providing high-quality service.
  • Hiring, supervision, development, and evaluation of engineering support staff.

Who you are :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of traffic engineering experience on transportation projects. Experience managing FDOT projects is a plus.
  • Professional License in Florida or ability to obtain a FL PE within 6 months of hire.
  • Business development and marketing experience in Florida a plus.
  • Experience in proposals (written, presentations, interviews etc.) a plus.
  • ITS / TSMO experience a plus.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
