Logistics Sales Executive

Our client is a fast-growing, family-owned, asset-based transportation company headquartered in Stafford VA. With a strong foundation in regional and national freight services, we take pride in offering personalized service backed by reliable equipment and a dedicated team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a high-energy, results-driven Logistics Sales Executive to join our team and help take our business to the next level.

Who You Are

You’re not just a sales rep—you’re a closer with 3–5 years of proven logistics sales experience and a deep understanding of the transportation industry (5–7 years total) . You know how to develop new business, maintain strong relationships, and you can back it up with real numbers—revenue, margins, and account growth . You're bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred), and you know how to connect with customers across cultures and industries.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and grow a solid book of business in freight brokerage and asset-based transportation.
  • Prospect, cold call, and close deals —you’ll be expected to bring in your own leads and convert.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients while generating new business.
  • Work closely with operations and dispatch teams to ensure service expectations are exceeded.
  • Provide pricing, track margin performance, and meet profitability targets.
  • Report on your own KPIs including revenue, gross margin, new accounts, and customer retention.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of logistics sales experience (preferably in full truckload, LTL, or intermodal).
  • Bilingual Preferred
  • 5–7 years total in the transportation industry (sales, operations, or dispatch).
  • Must be able to demonstrate your past performance —provide revenue generated, gross margins, and key wins.
  • Bilingual-(English / Spanish) highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Familiar with CRM tools and freight management software a plus.
