Schedule Details
In-Person (Laguna Hills, CA)Monday-Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 00pmDuties and Responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service to the internal and external customer by making and receivinginbound and outbound calls for delivery of medications
Reviews all notes prior to delivery confirmation; communicating with patient and / or physician officeinsurance investigation and patient responsibility
Collects key clinical information via patient URAC assessmentsReviews delivery scheduling, medication storage instructions, new patient packets and refill procedures forfuture deliveries
Collects applicable co-payments from the patient at the time of scheduling (Credit Card, Debit Card, Etc.)Charges credit card / debit card as needed for all Major Medical and Self Pay patientsSchedules deliveries of medication and nursing services for AIC and Home Infusion patients in a timelymanner to ensure compliance with patients treatment
Documents in the appropriate system all needed information, indicating correct ship date and deliveryaddress
Reviews the patients chart for accuracy. (Addresses, Medication Shipping, Authorization on file, andCollection of patients co-pays.)
Notifies RPH / RN with any patient side effect and / or request from the customerSolves issues that arise in a timely manner, documenting all relevant information on the patients recordReport any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance OfficerRepresent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all job-related interactionsRequired Qualifications
1+ years of Customer Service experienceExcellent customer service skillsStrong communication skills, both verbally and in writingSuperior interpersonal effectiveness, telephone customer service and relationship building skills.Ability to adapt to conversations and present interpersonal skills to fit the communication style of the callerAble to read, write, and speak English fluentlyStrong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detailBasic knowledge in various Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and OutlookTyping speed of at least 30 wpmAbility to work well under pressure at times and multi-task dailySelf-motivated, quick learner and able to work independently as well as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications
Special Pharmacy experiencePharmacy Technician highly preferred but not requiredBilingual Spanish highly preferred but not requiredCPR + experience highly preferred but not requiredPrevious IV Patient, IVIG Scheduling, and Care Coordinating experience highly preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements
