Job Description
The Superintendent - K-12 / Commercial Projects - Washington, DC will be responsible for : \n
\n
- Lead end-to-end project management, ensuring alignment with plans, specifications, timelines, and overall project goals
\n
Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain clear, consistent communication and smooth project execution\n
Manage on-site construction teams with strong leadership and interpersonal skills, promoting a collaborative, high-performing environment\n
Bring experience across a range of project types, including healthcare, higher education, K-12, libraries, multifamily, and office spaces\n
Apply GC expertise to effectively supervise subcontractors and ensure quality, timely delivery of work\n
Represent our client's core values on-site by leading with integrity and fostering a respectful, team-oriented culture\n
Proactively identify and address project risks, safety concerns, and other challenges throughout the construction process\n
Maintain comprehensive project records, including daily progress updates, safety documentation, and quality control reports\n \n

The Superintendent - K-12 / Commercial Projects - Washington, DC will have : \n
\n
At least 5 years of hands-on construction experience\n
Proven track record managing diverse project types, including healthcare, higher education, K-12, libraries, multifamily, and office spaces\n
Experience with ground-up construction projects is required\n
Solid background in General Contracting (GC) operations\n
Skilled in subcontractor coordination and on-site management\n
Strong leadership abilities with a history of successfully directing construction teams\n
Thorough understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards\n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support effective collaboration across all stakeholders\n
Committed to upholding safety, quality, and community-focused values\n
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges proactively\n
Experience on mission-driven projects that reflect our client's core values and community impact focus is a plus\n \n\n

The Superintendent - K-12 / Commercial Projects - Washington, DC will receive : \n

Competitive base salary : $110,000-$135,000 USD, depending on experience\n
Performance-based bonus structure\n
