Job Responsibilities

Lead strategic data architecture initiatives across PIMCO's enterprise.

Design and implement a robust data ecosystem supporting business processes, focusing on cloud migration, AI enablement, and digital transformation.

Streamline data processes, improve data quality and consistency, and enable analytical capabilities.

Build an AI-ready data foundation to leverage machine learning and AI for business decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture or systems design.

Strong knowledge of data governance, lineage, and metadata management.

Experience with large-scale data migration projects and cloud transformation.

Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, financial risk systems, and analytics platforms.

Technical expertise in databases (Oracle, Snowflake), cloud architecture (AWS preferred), and programming (Python, SQL).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, Zachman).

Data Management (CDMP, DAMA).

Project Management (PMP, Agile / Scrum).

AI / ML certifications.
