Engineering Consultant Entry Level

Celerity Consulting Group has openings for an Engineering Consultant I . This position is ideal for an entry-level Engineer looking to start their career in the consulting industry assisting Fortune 500 companies.

This role is a hybrid - work from home role that requires driving to client sites within the greater Los Angeles Area two days / week.

Candidates in and around the Los Angeles, CA area will be prioritized. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to : Review existing documentation for key information and specifications Analyze data using appropriate quantitative methods Review and verify tabular and spatial data against design or completion drawings for accuracy and consistency Provide client with necessary documentation and reports Update and inform project coordinator with all relevant project status and information Perform engineering design and calculations, with minimal supervision Review construction documents and report Monitor and ensure maintenance of tracking logs and all project coordination tools to include project status, challenges, estimated project end date, and project completion The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field and / or relevant work experience Ability to read and understand general engineering documents, including drawings and specifications Able to work or travel to client sites Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook) Highly organized, deadline driven, and detail oriented Flexible, analytical, and willing to tackle challenging work Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an open environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills (able to present technical matters in a clear and concise manner) Experience in the Gas & Utility Industry is a plus Physical requirements : Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time The person in this position frequently communicates with staff / clients who have inquiries.
