Job Shift
Description
- Daily inventory / cycle count and required parts to order.
- Prepare periodic inventory or maintain continuous inventory of tools and equipment.
- Keep accurate records of parts inventory and incoming orders daily.
- Receive and issue parts in system daily.
- Issue tools and equipment to workers and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned.
- Receive issued parts and inspection delivered daily at the end of shift.
- Receive and process all request forms daily.
- Systematically organize and maintain tool room in accordance with instructions.
- Communicate with all authorized team members daily to timely and correctly review any orders for parts requested.
- Communicate part needs with shop leader, Managers and Supervisors.
- Maintain / repair returned parts for proper inventory maintenance.
- Assist with annual evaluation of parts usage to determine what needs to be stocked and what need to be removed from stock per manager and / or usage reports.
- Managing the tool room window / desk.
- Ensure tool room security / tool room access.
- Monitor and maintain overnight and weekend request for tools.
