Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Director to join our team in the San Jose area.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and identifying new market opportunities to enhance our market presence and revenue streams.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnerships : Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including OEMs, suppliers, and technology partners to drive mutual growth and create synergistic opportunities.
- Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, providing valuable insights to guide business strategies and product development initiatives.
- New Business Development : Lead the identification, evaluation, and pursuit of new business opportunities in alignment with the company's strategic objectives, including market expansion and diversification efforts.
- Customer Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their evolving needs and preferences to deliver tailored solutions and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, engineering, and product development teams to align business development efforts with organizational goals and priorities.
- Negotiation and Contract Management : Lead negotiation processes and contract discussions with partners and customers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while safeguarding the company's interests and objectives.
- Performance Monitoring : Track and analyze business development KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and continuous improvement.
- Market Expansion : Drive initiatives for market expansion and penetration into new geographical regions and industry verticals, leveraging market insights and strategic partnerships to capitalize on growth opportunities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or related roles within the semiconductor industry.
- Proven track record of success in driving business growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor technologies, market dynamics, and industry trends. 5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing innovative business strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software; experience with data analysis and market research tools is a plus.
