Position
The Elements Store Shift Lead will be responsible for the daily operation of the retail store including properly assigning tasks, ensuring show readiness, designing and upkeeping store visuals and displays, and processing shipment. This position will work closely with the Guest Service Managers to strategically work towards efficiency, productivity and improvement of store processes.
Responsibilities
- Greeting, interacting and monitoring customers to help the store in loss prevention and to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist with stocking items and keeping stockroom and loading area clean and orderly.
- Count and record inventory.
- Display and organize products in store for customers to locate easily.
- Label new products as needed and ensure labeling is accurate.
- Be aware of all current sales goals and priorities.
- Implement and execute cash handling procedures including but not limited to issuing starting day funds, cashing out staff, dealing with POS issues and providing approvals.
- Ensure the safety of all staff and guests on the company property through following procedures and identifying and addressing risks and concerns.
- Plan and monitor the execution of all state and company mandated breaks and / or lunches for staff.
- Provide guest services training and coach staff as needed.
- Ensure the general operation is ready to provide a high level of service and anticipate guest needs.
- Model company guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Provide consistent and accurate communication to team members.
- Lead staff to meet daily, weekly and monthly to reach goals for the company.
- Acknowledge and recognize staff members for performance when appropriate.
- Assist with all operational needs as required.
